Daylesford Organic, Gloucestershire

Location

Daylesford Organic is nestled in the heart of a 3,500 acre privately-owned farm and village in Gloucestershire, around two miles east of Stow-on-the-Wold, close to the Oxfordshire border. The establishment is owned and operated by Lord & Lady Bamford.

Activities at Daylesford Organic

Originally a small farm shop serving organic produce the local community, Daylesford Organic has expanded over the last two decades to become one of the most popular places to visit in the North Cotswolds.

Farm Shop

The Daylesford Organic Farm Shop showcases the wide variety of vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy and bakery produce from the farm. The organic farm produce is also used to create fresh meals, sandwiches, soups and sauces for sale in the shop. Long-dated items can be purchased in seasonal hampers, making an ideal gift. The front displays are ever-changing in line with seasonal produce and themes.

The farm shop features an enclosed Cheese Room, housing the award-winning produce from the British Pedigree Friesians cows on the farm.

Whether you are looking for a quick lunch wrap, an easy dinner or hosting a dinner party, the farm shop has something for every occassion.

Garden & Homeware

Separate to the farm shop, Daylesford Organic has a large Garden & Homeware store showcasing high-quality, sustainable products for homes of all shapes and sizes. The Garden & Homeware section is a great place for high-quality gifts for those deserve something special; the fragrances, candles and seasonal blooms from the floristry are especially popular. Don’t forget to pick something up for your pet too!

For home and garden renovations, the store has a large selection of high quality home accessories, tableware and outdoor living furniture.

Dining

Daylesford Organic has three main dining spots: The Trough, The Legbar and The Old Spot - all showcasing the farm produce. We especially love the organic breakfast at The Trough, featuring golden-yolk eggs, succulent sausages and bacon from the farm. For lunch, pizzas at The Legbar are simply delicious!

There is also a Cooking School, offering a range of half-day, full-day and private dining experiences using the farm produce. We especially recommend booking a private dining experience to immerse yourself in Daylesford Organic as this involves a guided tour of the farm to see where the local produce is grown - you can even choose your own menu using the ingredients on offer.

Bamford Wellness Spa and The Club

The Bamford Wellness Spa is a multi-purpose wellness centre offering a wide range of body, face, hair and nail treatments, yoga and exercise facilities with regular classes, including a relaxation pool. For spa lovers, a Bamford Wellness Spa voucher could be the perfect gift!

The Club by Bamford is the latest addition to the Daylesford complex - a members club with a state-of-the-art fitness centre with a rejuvenation spa, 25-meter pool and outdoor fitness centre.
