Southrop is a quaint Gloucestershire village located on the River Leach. Brimming with history, the village is home to St Peter’s Church dating back to the 12th century and was also part of the notorious 1830 Swing Riots.

Away from the large tourist crowds of nearby villages such as Bibury, Southrop is now a tranquil retreat for those seeking rest and relaxation. The village is home to the Meadow Spa at Thyme - one of the most renowned spas in the Cotswolds - as well as The Swan gastropub, perfect for visiting after a long ramble around the many local walks.
